Phina operates the Phina mobile application and website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your email address, name, date of birth, and authentication details. We may also receive profile details from Google or Apple when you choose those sign-in methods.
We collect wine and event data that you create in the app, including bottle details, tasting notes, ratings, event membership, and check-in status.
If you upload or capture photos for wine labels or avatars, those images are stored by us and may be processed by third-party AI services to extract wine details or generate display images.
If you buy Premium or host credits, purchase state and transaction records are processed through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and our backend so we can unlock paid features, restore purchases, and handle support requests.
If you opt into notifications, we store your push token. We also collect product analytics and crash diagnostics through providers such as PostHog and Sentry.
How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the service.
- Verify legal drinking age eligibility.
- Run events, ratings, and cellar features.
- Send opted-in notifications.
- Improve reliability, product quality, and support.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell personal information and we do not use personal data for third-party advertising. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as Supabase, Expo, Google, Apple, Sentry, PostHog, and AI processing providers.
Content you add to an event, such as wines, photos, ratings, and notes, is visible to the members participating in that event. Phina is designed around private event participation rather than public social profiles.
Reporting and Moderation
If you encounter event, wine, or AI-generated content that is inaccurate, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate, you can report it in the app or contact support@appsmithery.co.
Retention and Deletion
We retain data while your account is active unless a shorter period is required by law or operational need. You can request deletion directly in the app from Settings, or review the public instructions at /delete-account.
